Creating programs in INSIGHT

INSIGHT allows organizations to create different programs in the system that mirrors the programs that provide services to patients (e.g. Residential, IOP, etc). Patients can be transferred between programs within the same treatment episode. For more about transferring patients, please visit “Transferring patients to new programs and counselors.”

To create a new program:

• Click on the “Program Summaries” icon (the second stacked blocks icon) on the left side navigation bar.

Then, click on the “Add Program” button located in the upper right side corner. 

• To create the program, you need to name the program (e.g. The Counseling Center’s IOP Program), an abbreviation (e.g. CIOP), and select your treatment cent from the drop-down menu.

• Once you have filled out the information, click “Submit” to create the group.
