Entering or Updating Contact Information and Setting Preferences
To enter or update your contact info, click on the "Settings" icon located in the left side menu bar. The "Settings" icon looks like a gear.
On the settings page, you can enter or update your email address and cell phone number. You can also select how you would like to receive your notifications, either via email or text message.
Setting Notification Intervals
Next, set your notification timing preferences. There are three timing options:
Immediately: a text or email message will be sent immediately after a patients submit surveys
Within 3 hours: a text or email message will be sent within 3 hours of a patient completing a survey and will include a digest of surveys also received in that time period.
Once per day: a text or email message will be sent, at your chosen time, with all recent surveys collected in the last 24 hours.
Please note: all times reflect the Eastern U.S. time zone and are in a 24-hour format.
You can select a timing preference for each category of notification. There are several different categories of notifications:

Once you have made your selections, click submit at the bottom of the page.
Notification Settings for Managers
Staff with manager access to the software have a couple more options for notifications. Managers can:
- specify notification settings for each program
- change the notification settings of other users
Specify Notification Settings by Program
Managers who have access to data from multiple programs in INSIGHT can decide which programs they want to receive patient alerts. To change your own settings:
1. Click on the "settings" icon in the left side menu.
2. On the top of the page, you should see a table that shows all of the programs visible to you. Under the heading "receive alerts" use the drop-down to select your preference. You can select from the following preferences:
- No alerts
- Only assigned to me (patients who have you as their assigned counselor in Vista)
- All patients (all patients in that program

Changing Notification Settings for Other Users
1. Select either the "counselors" or "managers and staff" icon from the left side toolbar. Remember, you can show the names of the icons by selecting the 3 line icon at te top left of the page.
2. Select the user member you'd like to change (you can search for staff using the search box in the upper left corner). Click on the three dots next to the staff member's name and select "edit."
